Hi...

I'm embarrassed. I am officially not a very good blogger :(

You know how much I've been off and on with blogging? Sheesh. I gotta get this together!

Anyway, my last post (from like a MONTH ago...) was about IMEA. And I had my concert on Saturday(: It was AMAZING!!! It blew me away last year and blew me away this year. :D Everyone that's surrounding me is SO GOOD... I'm so happy I made it and experienced this! My grandparents and parents were there to see the concert.

So yeah. Thanksgiving is coming up. I love Thanksgiving, and it really frustrates me that people go from thinking about Halloween to Christmas and skip Thanksgiving. It's just as important of a holiday, so why not treat it just as special? It's a great time that celebrates an important event in history and is a great opportunity to give thanks and spend time with family. (I'll step off my soap box, now) :)

IMEA

So I had talked about IMEA last year in a post.

Basically what it is....It is a music association where they choose 200 of the best singers within a certain part of my state. You audition and if you make it, you start to practice!

Well I made it last year...and I made it again this year! So excited :)

My concert is in the beginning of November, and I get to sing a lot of cool songs. I practice literally all day the day of the concert, and the concert is in the afternoon. It's going to be fun, though! I love it.

Sorry I've been really behind, guys. I have poll results (and have posted a new poll). Here are the results for: "If you were food, would you want to be eaten?" 66% of you guys said No, and 33% yes.

But I have started school, and that's going great!

Vacation, Family, End of Summer

Back to blogging!

Vacation was fun! The weather was GREAT. We hung around Lake Superior and it was BEAUTIFUL....it was basically a beach, and the lake looked like an ocean!

And my grandparents came for a visit this week! Which was also fun. Went by really fast...

And school is starting up soon! Sad to see the end of summer.... :( I think I'm ready for school... (maybe...) ;)

Update on Life

So, if you read my last post, you know that I went to see Blue Man Group. It was so much fun! Did some shopping beforehand, and when it came to the show...VERY entertaining! Musical, funny, and really cool! One of the best shows I've seen (besides Brian Regan of course ;))

I will be on vacation soon. I am leaving on Tuesday, August 2nd. And I will be back late Friday, August 5th. Gonna see some mountains! (:

Blue Man Group

I will be seeing the Blue Man Group tomorrow with my grandma ("Mimi"). I have heard it is very good and exciting from what I have heard, and it looks fun, too. :) I will be going into the city to see it, and I will be spending the night in a hotel...and maybe squeeze in a little shopping ;)

HOT Weather

The weather here has been CRAZY HOT...I don't know how anyone can possibly stand it. It was up to 109○ today. xP

And it's humid which makes it worse.

Good thing I have ice cream in the freezer ;)

Storm

There was a terrible storm this morning that woke me up! Rain pounded the windows so hard that the house was shaking! D:

It passed over kinda quickly, but it was pretty bad! It was one of those storms that you don't think could get ANY louder...but that's exactly what it did! It got nothing BUT louder!

Tore apart our bird feeding table. Wood was everywhere, so that got fixed this morning.

But yeah. It's stopped now.

Sleepover/The Voice Update

Went to a sleepover on Tuesday night. There were 3 of us.

It was fun! We had a nerf gun fight, shot home-made music videos, ate candy, and stayed up A L L ...N I G H T!!!!!

I was exhausted so I dozed off at around 6, and so did the host of the sleepover haha.... When I got home I took a longer nap that lasted for almost 2 hours, but I had to be woken up so I wouldn't sleep the whole day and throw off my sleep schedule!...or become nocturnal... :P

But that was enough to refresh me for the rest of the day.

There was also a tornado warning when I went to the sleep over! It was a pretty bad storm, but it didn't pass anywhere in our area. LUCKY! :D

BTW, I missed The Voice on Tuesday...you know that singing show I posted about before. But I found out from being able to record it! :D

**THE VOICE SPOILER ALERT**

I found out that Jeff Jenkins got eliminated! :( It might have been for a good reason though because the coach (Adam Levine) had someone (Javier Colon) on his team that was chosen to possibly go to the finals, and all the Adam needed to do was pick another singer on his team. He orginally was going to pick Jeff he said, but he picked the 18 year old girl (Casey Weston) on his team instead. I was disappointed at first because I didn't think Casey was NEARLY as amazing as Jeff.

Now last night's episode was where America would choose between the TWO singers on each team. Adam said that Javier needed this more because he was older and his singing career couldn't wait, unlike Casey who has plenty of time to build a singing career. So, I think the reason Adam chose Casey instead of Jeff on Tuesday was because Jeff (who is also pretty young) would have been too much competition for Javier and could interfere with Javier being chosen by America. Does that make sense? So, I guess in a way, Jeff has been complimented by...not getting chosen... because he is just that good and has a potential to be chosen over another great singer!

But it's alright! He tweeted saying that it was a good run, he will put out music, and that this ISN'T THE END. :D

Canoeing!

So I FINALLY got to go canoeing today!

It was so fun! I went with my parents...they sat on the ends and rowed while I sat in the middle. It was the perfect day to go. And we went along the river pretty well...until the VERY end... When we were done for the day and tried to dock the canoe on an "island," we hit a tree and the canoe capsized!

That's right. We tipped over and were DRENCHED haha...

It was fun though! Glad I had that experience. :)

Invader Zim

So my favorite TV show is Invader Zim xD

It's basically about this alien from planet Irk named Zim who tries to conquer Earth. His little "assistant" is a robot named Gir. (My favorite character!) They both have disguises (for those of you who see Gir as a green dog...). It's a funny and amusing show. :)

Anyway, this is a clip from the first episode where they choose their disguises. This is just a little clip to help you understand the show.

The Voice - Jeff Jenkins & Casey Desmond

So, I have been watching the show The Voice on NBC. This is a clip from last week's show I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF!!! This clip shows one of the battle rounds where the judges choose only ONE of the two singers in the battle to move on.

I won't tell you who gets chosen in this battle. You'll just have to watch.

Summer Party

I had the awesomest summer party on Saturday!!!

We hung out...ate snacks....listened to some music....and LAUGHED :D I have funnyy friends!!!!!

We first started hanging out outside, but then it started raining...and shortly after, it started hailing!!! So we went in the basement and hung out in my lounge area! Then a couple hours later, it was beautiful out, so we ate pizza outside.

It was fun!!!!

Hello...

Bad news. I didn't go canoeing on Monday. :( The river was too high. Instead...we went to waterfalls! Not as neat since I've been there before...but still pretty kewl! :D

And I went to my grandparent's house on Sunday. We hung out...ate...it was nice. :)

Not Much Goin' On

There's nothing big happening right now. Just happy it's the weekend! :)

Gonna be doing some yard work to earn some more $$$. Not the best activity...but it's better than sitting at a desk all day!

But I'm going to my grandparent's house tomorrow, and I will be canoeing on Monday!

I'll be sure to post about those things. ;)

I took a long break and now I've decided to come back. But THIS HAS GOT TO STOP. I must be annoying you guys by taking breaks all the time. :P

Sorry again for taking such a long break...
