Could it Be?

Well, you know how I said I lost the book for Language Arts? Yeah, of course you do. It's in the post right before this one.

Anyway, my Language Arts teacher - I don't know how - called yesterday and talked to my mom.

My teacher said that my choir teacher found a book in the hallway near his classroom. (which is where I thought it might be considering I go to his class after language arts.)

My choir teacher doesn't remember what book it was, but he returned it to the library. I have my fingers crossed! Maybe I won't be paying for the book after all!

Could it be? The Giver has been found???

The Giver - Where are You?

I'm gonna get it. Either that or I'm gonna have to pay five dollars.

In Language Arts, we have been reading a book called The Giver. Well, just this morning I realized IT'S MISSING! Where are you, The Giver???

Hopefully I'll find it before Wednesday, our last day of school. Or else I'm going to be forking over five bucks... :(

Dessert Party and NEW FEATURES added!

So, if you have looked at the "Important Dates" feature off to the side, then you probably know that my last day of school is June 2nd.

Well, at my lunch table, all of my friends and I have agreed to have a dessert party on the second to last day of school! (The last day is only 3 hours, so it wouldn't work then.)

I am going to bring in blizzard oreos which are really good, so if ya haven't tried them yet, then you're missing out. TRY THEM! They're ordinary oreos with chocolate cookie pieces in the cream.

Also, I have added some more features to my blog. Like, if you scroll down to the VERY bottom off the blog, you see some notes I've added.

I've also included "Puppy Pic of the Day" featuring a new picture of an adorable puppy every day. (Note: I don't update the picture. It changes automaticially every day. So even I'M surprised when I see them.)

And, don't miss the pic of the world's smallest horse off to the side too. IT'S NOT A COAX! It's real.

More Useful Item Poll Results

Which is a more useful item? Rock, paper, scissors? was my recent poll.

Paper won first place with 8 votes. To my surprise, Rock won SECOND place...with 2 votes. And, scissors, surprisingly, won last place.

People who voted are making me wonder how in the world a rock is more useful than scissors.

Either way, I am really glad you people out there voted. I am getting lots of votes each time! (Part of it is because I have been advertising it on the SmorgShow Podcast.) Anyway...THANKS!

Ugh...EXHAUSTED!!!

We just got back from a long hike. We were gone ALL afternoon. I am so EXHAUSTED...

We crossed a creek that had stones to walk along to the other side. Our feet got DRENCHED.

My socks and shoes were on for a pretty long time, and as I was walking I just kept hearing squish, squish, squish... When I finally took them off in the car, my feet looked like prunes :P which is why I had to get in the shower for the second time today...

Anyway, after the hike, we went to some diner for dinner...

Get this...

My family was probably the youngest people there! Everyone at the diner was like in their 70's...until some little boy that looked about five or six walked in with his grandparents...HIS GRANDMA KEPT YELLING AT HIM!!! (Fun show!!)

I got a stack of chocolate pancakes, bacon, and sausage. Boy, did that hit the spot! I'm so FULL!

This Weekend

WHY???

I am starting to wonder why they only put 14 pieces of Swedish Fish in one box. AND THEY OVERPACKAGE!!! Who are the people who come up with these ideas... and who do they think they're kidding?

I laid down in the middle of a road yesterday!

My mom, dad, and I were in the car, and we decided to get out after pulling off to the side of the road to look for a geocache (which is a treasure hunting thing with a GPS.)

Anyway, there were no cars on the road we were near what so ever. I thought it'd be cool to just jump around in the middle of the road and just run back and forth across the road. Then, I just lay down in the dead center of the road and watched the clouds, still making sure no cars were coming.

Well, my mom thought that was cool, so SHE DID IT TOO!!!

My dad just kind of gave us the "um...okay?" kind of look.

It was funny because right after we got in the car, that's when all of the cars came driving down the road we were laying on.

I'M HARD CORE! YOU DON'T WANT TO MESS WITH MEEEEEEE!!! Ha!

Kat on the Smorgshow Podcast!

I don't know if I mentioned in another post that I know someone who was born 4 hours after me...

If I didn't, I tell you in this post! My dad had a friend in high school who he got in touch with again recently. Well, both of them found out they have daughters that were born on the same day (March 1). His daughter was born four hours after me! Her name is Kat and she ROCKS! She's awesome...and the creepy thing is we have SO much in common!

Who Done It?

With a lack of things to talk about, I have decided to share a poem with you guys that I wrote in fourth grade. It's called "Who Done It?"

Who Done It? Who Done It?
Who ate the last cake?
Who Done It? Who Done It?
Who stole my best rake?
Who Done It? Who Done It?
Have I gone MAD?
Who Done It? Who Done It?
Oh, this is BAD!

Bear with me guys...at least it rhymes!!!!

So, I wrote this in fourth grade like I said. It was part of some poetry project we were doing.

Anyway, I let this kid that sat next to me read my poem. I told him he could read it as long as he doesn't copy it.

So what does he do? Copies it. Of course.

I'm like, "I told you not to copy my poem!" And then he's like, "I didn't."

Yeah. Sure you didn't:

Who Took It? Who Took It?
Who took my enchiladas?
Who Took It? Who Took It?
Who took my favorite soap?
Who Took It? Who Took It?
Who took my pet fish?
Wait, I think I've gone mad!

Yeah, sure. Your poem is NOTHING like mine.

Then it got published in our home made class' poetry book.

And the worst thing is, he sits next to me in one of my classes NOW. Boy is he gonna get it!!! lol

So, now every time I come across his poem, I THINK I'VE GONE MAD!!!

ABC's of the Last Days of School

So, we have had a certain theme each day at school starting on the day where we only had 26 days left (one day per letter of the alphabet...)

Today was the letter "I," however, I do know some of the themes that will be coming up:

A: American Flag Colors - I wore dark Blue
B: Baseball - Nothing (Hate sports!!!)
C: College Wear - Wrote down names of colleges on tape and taped them to my shirt!
D: Dress for success! (Interview wear)- Nothing. Don't like being too fancy.
E: Eighties Clothes - Nothing...WHAT THE HECK DID THEY WEAR THEN???
F: Funny Feet - I wore two different socks with two different flip-flops
G: Gold-Colored Clothes - Wore yellow T
H: Hippie - I wore a peace shirt, two peace necklaces, and a colorful scarf
I: Inside Out Day - Um...I wore my clothes inside out...EVEN MY SOCKS!!!

SmorgShow Podcast SPECIAL EPISODE! ***

So, the show I do with my dad every week is off to the side as all of you people out there know...

We have gotten a lot of feedback that people loved our last old radio play/skit. And since people really liked it, we did another one! It's called "On a Country Road" and is VERY suspenseful. (Some scenes will make you JUMP.) eek!

See, we named it smorg like a smorgasbord...(you know, a variety of foods.) And, our show is like a smorgasbord because we do a variety of things on the show. Get it?
