Lost Hikers...in the MUD (ugh.)

Ahh...nothing like slushy snow mixed with mud. (THANK GOODNESS!!)
I was hiking in the woods with family the other day, and it was so slushy, sloppy, and muddy. I almost lost my shoe a few times in the mud. It was terrible.
But the worst part was that we were a little lost. We didn't really know where the path ended...(yikes)...which would have been nice to know.
By the time we got to the car, we were EXHAUSTED.
We won't be going back there till spring!!! DEFINATELY.
So, I'm not going to be hiking in the snow unless it's the sparkly, clean, and fluffy white snow with no yellow stains or anything! :]

Updates On Life...

Well, the school play is over. Like I said I didn't have a very big role. I was on stage for pretty much 45 seconds. But, so what? Everyone starts small, right?

I also found out that I wasn't a banana bear, I was just a banana carrier who danced. Oh, well. Anyway, I got to wear pigtails with balloons in my hair, and I also wore a crazy outfit that included crazy jewelry, striped p.j. pants, a poncho, scarves, gloves, and balloons between my toes! It was REALLY fun. So many people congratulated me for doing such a good job. I just say, "Thanks, but...it wasn't even that big of a part!"

Lots of people say the tree in the background was the best part. He was a little funny, just standing there, but...who knows?

This next comment is really random....

See the hamster that is my profile picture? He isn't mine. I just really animals, and I found that pic on the web. I do have a guinea pig, however! Her name is Cinnamon, and she is SOOO cute!! She's an orange-redish color and has a white stripe across her face. I used to have another guinea pig named Ginger who was Cinnamon's mother, but she passed away a few years ago.

Cinnamon will be 6 years old in April! (That is old for a guinea pig.) She is very healthy, and I love her so much!

By the way, I went to a birthday party yesterday and saw the movie Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

I highly recommend this movie...especially to those who love an action-packed film with peril moments.

(Warning, however: There are some scary scenes, so keep this in mind if you bring little kids with you.)

Banana Bear Feelin' Better!

Starting to feel better. My nose is slightly runny, but things are starting to get back to normal. It's a little difficult to sing in Choir, but for the most part, things are going pretty good. At least my cough is gone.

Well...just got back from play practice not too long ago. You know how I said in an earlier post that I am a bear in the school play that dances and carries a banana? (Not too big of a part because all the older kids got the big parts.) Anyway, we are going to be finishing up with making the giant banana tomorrow that I am supposed to carry. So.....that'll be kinda fun. We already have the basic shape of it that I drew and cut out. Now we just need to staple two pieces together and stuff it! :))

Anyway, I am a banana bear that is feeling better!! Goodbye cold, and hello Broadway! (JK! I wish...) ;)
