Miserable

I feel like something a dog coughed up.
I have been trying to recover from a very bad cold that has been going around. I have a pretty bad cough and an extremely stuffed up nose... I visited the doctor's office today. Nothing serious. But I do think I got my dad sick... he is claiming that he has a sore throat...so.......yikes...

Well, I'm no doctor, so all I know is I feel miserable.

Banana Bear

So there is a school play coming up. I auditioned 'cause I figured...you know...why not? When I went for auditions, I found out the play was Raggedy Ann & Andy. The next day of school, I found out what part I got...I was a playroom toy.
That meant I didn't get a big part, put at least it was something...
So I showed up for rehearsal when I was supposed to, and the directer for the play said that three people with bigger roles in the play couldn't make it to the play. So...she said that the playroom toy characters could audition for those three parts. I ended up getting one of them!!! So I got a bigger role! Wanna know what I am?
A Banana Bear...
I have to do a little dance and sing a funny tune from Loony Land!

I'm goin' CRAZY!

My awesome Language Arts teacher has been out because her husband is having back surgery. We've had the same sub for a week now, and things just aren't the same. We've had piles of homework every night now from the sub, and I am drowning in misery!! AHHHHH!!!! HELP ME OUT HERE!!!

Fields of Gold

You'll remember me
When the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley;
You'll forget the sun
in his jealous sky
As we walk in fields of gold;
So she took her love
for to gaze a while
upon the fields of barley;
In his arms she fell
as her hair came down
Among the fields of gold;
Will you stay with me?
Will you be my love
among the fields of barley?
I never made promises lightly;
and there are some that I've broken;
but I swear in the days still left
We will walk in fields of gold;
We will walk in fields of gold;
Many years have passed
Since those summer days
Among the fields of barley;
See the children run
as the sun goes down;
as we lie in fields of gold;
as we lie in fields of gold

Little Piggy Wants his Lunch

LOL
My gosh, I am still laughing about today!
I was in the lunch line at school, and the kid in front of me had two slices of pizza, apple juice, two cookies, and a bag of cheetos. He couldn't juggle all of it and things were starting to fall. I mean, he could like barely move his tray!
I nudged my friend who was standing next to me in line, and I was like, "That's quite a lot of food..." She looked over at his tray and started giggling, then whispered in my ear, "Hungry, are we???"

ROFL! It was so funny, because I am just imagining me going up to him and saying that!
He'd be like, "uh...yeah...what of it???"

LOL :))

Larry King?

Is this background with all the dots okay??? or is it too...Larry King-ish? :)

I don't want to appear...newsroom-ish, because I'm not here to talk about politics. Believe me, I know what the consequences of THAT would be...

Haiti in Need

As you may have heard, an earthquake struck Haiti around mid-January of 2010. (7.0) As if that weren't enough, an aftershock hit. (6.1) This is especially unfortunate because of the fact that Haiti is one of the most poorest countries in the world.
You may be asking What can I do to help?
There is a program called "Feed my Starving Children" which is when food is packaged up and shipped to poor countries. I have participated in this several times. You can help by participating in this program, too. All you have to do is look it up on the Internet to find out information on how to set up a gathering to do this. Another option is to go to any church and ask about it. A lot of churches do this program, and would be more than happy to set up a gathering to participate in "Feed my Starving Children."
Please. Think of others and make a difference.

River in Judea

Often times,
I dream of music
and of the river that freely flows;
and it
Sings a song
Sweeter than honey;
One everybody knows;
Late at night,
I hear it singing;
Then again when I wake at dawn;
and it fills me up
with hope and good will;
The will to go on,
go on;
There is a river in Judea
that I heard of long ago,
and it's a singing, ringing rhythm
that my soul cries out to know

Stream of Wonders

Tossing pebbles into a stream of wonders
as they make that ker-plunk sound and flow down the stream;
Hearing that pitter patter, pitter patter the
stream of wonders makes;
It's like a never-ending song;
The sound of wonder that is never heard anywhere else but here;
It's as if the stream of wonders is talking to me,
telling me everything will be alright
as peace and coolness of the air surrounds me;
I feel safe,
protected,
there is no harm in the forest of wonders
with the stream of wonders right there by my side
